Violet Chachki, winner of the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, brings drag artistry to high fashion, fusing burlesque and haute couture in collaborations with Jean Paul Gaultier and Moschino. Her unique aesthetic and presence on major runways have redefined drag in the luxury world.

Gottmik revolutionized season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race as one of the first trans artists on the show, fusing drag and high fashion in collaborations with brands like Moschino and on magazine covers like Vogue. Her disruptive style and focus on personal expression have established her as a reference in the crossover between fashion, art and activism.

This title highlights the connection between drag art as a form of counterculture and resistance, underlining its historical role and relevance in current political contexts, especially in the face of repressive policies of leaders such as Putin and Trump.
The conference will feature leading international drag figures, including Alyssa Edwards, Drag Chuchi and Drag Sethlas, who will share their experiences and perspectives on the impact of drag on contemporary society.

Alyssa Edwards, an icon in and out of the drag world, has expanded her influence with her Netflix reality show, Dancing Queen. Her charisma and success make her a global figure of perseverance and entertainment. She is also the reigning and brand new winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.

Drag Sethlas, born in 2013, has managed in her 11 years of professional career to win twice the Drag Gala of the Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as well as becoming the recent winner of the AtresPlayer Drag Race Spain All Stars program. With her risky and controversial proposals, she has marked a before and after, positioning herself as one of the most famous drags in the Canary Islands.

Drag Chuchi was born in 2017 competing in the Gala Drag Queen of the Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and in 2019 he was the winner of this international event, taking him to represent his island to the West Coast of the USA, specifically in Los Angeles. In 2023 he becomes part of the official casting of the third season of Drag Race Spain.

This event reflects on the importance of safety, visibility and inclusion in global tourism.
