Bibiana Fernandez

For many years in Spain the only reference for gender reassignment without the stigma of marginality was Bibiana Fernández. She started the process when no one else was doing it: “Everyone was whispering in my wake. I felt like a crazy horse.”

At that time the actress earned her living in the cabarets of Barcelona and also co-starred in the film ‘Cambio de Sexo’ by Vicente Aranda.

She is currently one of the best known faces in this country: actress, presenter, collaborator, singer, artist in general and a regular at the most important red carpets and parties.
