Chocolate Remix

It is an Argentine lesbian and feminist reggaeton project led by singer, songwriter and producer Romina Bernardo, also known as “Choco”.

The project began in 2013, through Facebook, when the singer launched a song to satirize the stereotype of men in reggaeton. Her first show was at an LGBT party in Argentina, whose repercussion in social networks and the support of feminist groups, detonated Romina Bernardo to begin to dedicate herself to music professionally.

Their themes are characterized by the use of satire and depiction of sexual acts in which women take a more active role. Also, they have been involved against gender violence with the theme “Ni una menos” (Not one less), in allusion to the protests against femicides in Argentina.
