Felipe Cardenas
In 2021, as part of World Tourism Day, the board of directors of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) reported that it elected Felipe Cardenas as president, making him the first Colombian to hold the position.
Felipe is the co-founder and executive director of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Colombia, where he leads the board and operations of more than 160 members and more than 15 corporate partners. He represents the organization at the international level and ensures the consolidation of its portfolio oriented to memberships, alliances, events and certifications.
Felipe has more than 10 years of experience. He has led teams -both in physical and virtual environments- at local, national and international levels. He is also an advisor to different entities in Latin America and Europe on growth, organizational development and foreign trade. He is an entrepreneur interested in business development and LGBT+ initiatives.
