Indya Moore is an American actress, model and activist.
She began her modeling career at the age of 15, working for various brands and photographers. In 2017, she made her acting debut in the TV series “Saturday Church”, in which she played the protagonist, a young transgender girl struggling to find her place in the world.
However, it was her role in Ryan Murphy’s series “Pose,” where she played Angel Evangelista, a young transgender woman who dreams of becoming a model, that catapulted her to fame. The series, set in New York’s ballroom culture scene in the 1980s, is considered a milestone in the representation of the LGTBIQ+ community on television.
