Javier Cid

Javier Cid, born in Zamora in 1979, is a journalist and writer. He works as an editor at the newspaper El Mundo, where he continues to work as content director. He became known with Diario de Martín Lobo (Plaza & Janés, 2010), a book that collected the spirit of Blogback Mountain, a blog of elmundo.es where he narrated his misadventures with a pseudonym and that, for a while, was the most read blog of the newspaper.

Nine years later Cid publishes the book Llamarás un domingo por la tarde, this time under his real name. This story delves into the yearnings and concerns of a generation that refuses to face the passage of time. Javier Cid is one of the most biting and controversial journalists in the media and social networks.
