Mariela Castro

Cuban politician and sexologist , she directs the Centro Nacional de Educación Sexual de Cuba (CENESEX) and the magazine Sexología y Sociedad in Havana.

Activist for LGBT rights in Cuba, she has been a promoter of the effective prevention of HIV/AIDS. She has developed important social events to promote and disseminate protection and respect for sexual minorities, transgender people. And to women who decide to have an abortion on the island.
