Nacho Duato

Probably the most outstanding artist in dance in this country. His career as a dancer began in 1980 at the prestigious Cullberg Ballet in Stockholm, and a year later he gained worldwide prominence when he joined Nederlands Dans Theatre.

His ballets and choreographies are part of the repertoire of the most prestigious international companies such as the American Ballet Theatre, the Paris Opera Ballet, the Berlin Opera Ballet or the Royal Ballet.

After directing the Ballet of the National Lyric Theater of Spain, the National Dance Company or the ballet of the Mikhailovsky Theater of St. Petersburg, he currently directs the Berlin State Ballet.
