Spanish model known for being the first transgender woman to become Miss Universe Spain and compete in this pageant in 2018.
At the age of 16 she began hormone treatment and at 24 she underwent sex reassignment, although she believes that the only key to being a woman is to be and feel like a woman.
She participated for the Miss World Spain 2015 beauty pageant, where she addressed the struggle to make transgender women visible, however she had no chance of winning because they did not allow a transgender woman to win according to the pageant rules.
After 3 years, she tried again, but this time in the Miss Universe Spain 2018 pageant, where she ended up winning.
She has been collaborating since 2015 with the Daniela Foundation, which helps transgender minors and adolescents, and their families.
