Carmen Jedet Izquierdo Sánchez, known artistically as Jedet, is a Spanish actress, singer and writer.
In 2015, Jedet made her acting debut in the TV series “Paquita Salas”, created by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi. Since then, she has participated in several TV productions, such as “Vis a Vis” and “Veneno”, the latter series based on the life of the iconic Spanish transgender artist, Cristina Ortiz Rodríguez, known as “La Veneno” which earned her an Ondas award.
In addition to her acting career, Jedet is also known for her singing and songwriting. At Culture & Business Pride, she will present her latest work in an exclusive concert. Jedet is also the author of two books, in which she shares her personal experiences and reflections on topics such as gender identity and self-acceptance. Jedet is a multidisciplinary artist who has managed to stand out in the world of fashion, acting, music and literature, becoming an important voice in the fight for visibility and equal rights for the LGTBIQ+ collective.
